George & Ivy Central Fremantle.
Newly opened. Eco hair salon in the West End heritage strip.
Newly OpenedInside Central Fremantle.
When we started George and Ivy back in a previous lifetime (2018), we wanted to create an environment that felt enjoyable to exist in, that represented who we were as people, and was for everyone (and every style). A place surrounded by a close‑knit community of good people (where good peoples' talents are nurtured), that was inspiring, relaxing and well‑designed, with positive vibes and access to a decent coffee machine.

Where we sit in Fremantle.
About Fremantle
Sat inside Fremantle's heritage‑listed West End, our second salon shares its street with the Round House, Bathers Beach and the limestone facades that earned this strip its National Trust listing. The cappuccino strip is a five‑minute walk, Fremantle Markets ten, and the train station is at the other end of the block. Bannister Street itself is the kind of laneway that rewards a wander.
Getting here
An easy stroll through Fremantle's West End, and a flat, breezy ride in along the cappuccino strip. On‑street parking on Henry Street and Pakenham Street, with the Queensgate car park a three minute walk for longer stays, bike racks at the door, and 5% off when you arrive on foot or under your own steam.
